Map lua does not need - you can check the name of map in the main script when start map - and set variable for other checks, or run a separate function, or even a separate lua.

Update - I implemented in my mods features with shooting of the two hands, including with hands in side. (For pistols and SMG)

I think if i add more smoke for gunsmoke and wallpuff it be more look like gifs. It is bad that we can not to create entity of generation of particles.

Better respect user DC's opinion on the matter because it's his game essentially. I also agree with his opinion and if you want a game like that then either play that game or make a Lua script for CS2D that mimicks that games effects to achieve desired result. That way we're all happy.

I've seen some nice attempts recently with Lua scripts and I admire the results. I personally am creating a Lua script modification for CS2D and I am achieving some fun results with it.

I can recommend somethings . CS2D looks great . but the gif that are green , the graphics looks weird .

> Recommended

• Adobe PhotoShop - great skins .
• Notepad++ - multiple features , helps to script good
• Dinosaur Tool - helps for lua (ask MikuAuhDark)

The map looks like a city of traincity
I appreciate it . @user Yates: It's better , then your skinning is "sh*t" .

I like the double hands shooting . amazing mod .

Keep regards ,
Decato

Looks nice this video but still CS2D has it's limit for some things in this thread.
If you want to make a mod for it, then good luck anyway.

@user Pagyra: There's a reason why that is a top down video - it's pretty hard and a waste of time to make something like that.

When will you get it through your thick skull that if DC wanted and/or had the time he would have. Make it yourself and stop complaining all the time about everything.

Just to top it off, get lost with Russian smilies, it looks like shit )))))

@user Pagyra: You could just make your "finished" mod a true game and stop whining about graphics. Why would you even play CS2D if you don't like the graphics? Remember, making games is user DC's hobby, so if hobby -> For fun only.

I also have hobbies, such as creation of mods.
DC is so lazy as you are. He is a human and I fully understand it. Anyway mass of bugs still exist in his product(CS2D).
And nothing prevents him from at one day to agree to our proposal to change CS2D graphics - as has already been done with addition of light and shadow engine.
As he said -
user DC has written
CS2D doesn't look like that game because I obviously didn't invest as much time and effort into graphics and particle effects.
Looks great.

user DC is busy. Busy with other projects which made him earn awards..Maybe your lazy to know that a person have other things to do. We can see your happiness for making CS2D 'Future' but mod is a prefect thing to do

And nothing prevents user DC from at one day not changing the graphics. DC sticks to comic-style as seen on his previous games and upcoming one.
But i'm still very optimistic about the future of realistic CS2D.

Lol, I actually enjoy cs2d's art style... who cares that it looks like a "child's". It has far more character than those top down realistic characters. Honestly, the gameplay is the important thing and cs2d is still enjoyable to play even though I can't often find too many people, nor any servers with low ping anymore. It's nice to just chill and instantly find some people to just shoot the shit with some degree of strategy just from the virtue of being modelled off a great game like 1.6. CS2D actually has a bit of depth that people don't talk about and they really should because it could bring back the game if it hops on this stupid "esports" train in video games today. It's easy to download, free, fast-paced and there is a viable underground tournament scene.

Too bad the community doesn't push it in ways that will bring new players in.

Honestly maybe it's just because I've been playing this game on-off since like 06' and I've grown attatched to how it looks

@user CaneCorso and user Hellcat: Firstly, CS2D is not an 8-bit game, you fucking geniuses.
Secondly, CS2D can have better graphics via modding. Look at the file archive, you filthy lead pipes.
Don't spew bullshit around just to look smart.
