@user Chingy: Yates can't be mod, his mode is Idiot. Sadly.
@user Yates: Thanks for the support.

A note to DC.
Maybe those who want to apply should create a thread in the Unreal Software or Off-Topic section with their program, what they want to do, what they are going to change, how they are going to handle serious situations. That way, none of the people who are applying just for luls or to get power will be able to get accepted, due to lack of a good reason for their moderatorsip. Plus, people will be able to vote for the program they like the most.

@user 0a: That explains those two idiots who just voted for him. This is fucked up.

Would you like to see 200 threads of this?

For those who have suggested theirselves, I believe in FAQ it says you cannot apply yourself as a moderator.

It says you may not ask. Suggesting yourself is something different to spamming DC with "can i bez mod plz?"

Also this thread is meant for suggestions.

I know I said about not suggesting theirselves in my last comment, but I would suggest myself. I would stop acting like an ass and be a good moderator. I'm online at least once a day. When I'm offline I'm probably somewhere else.

Well i am registered for 783 days, my mode is user, I am a "good" user I guess. I obey the rules, but I've been temp-banned 3 times 1 for posting in german section using english, and 2 times for needless post (that Exacly thread topic and something else), and I'm active pretty much every day. My english isn't bad (maybe average).

This is my aplication i guess, im just offering help.

Hell no. Even I would be a better moderator than you just because of my English skills.

We obviously need more moderators here at Unreal Software. I'm planning to add 3 new moderators for the start. Please use this thread to suggest users you want to be moderators. You can also suggest yourself.
3 new moderators? That means I can finally stop, yay

So far you and Leiche were the best moderators in the forum. Don't go away like that; DC needs YOU more than all of those 3 new moderators.

Did you read my post fully or just that phrase?

@user Yates: Very well then.

My primary reason to be a mod is because I am active and mature. I might sometimes go over the line, but everyone does that. I am a human being.

My program is the following:

• Three strike system.

It is very simple. If the person writes a spam post, or insults someone, he first gets a warning or a 6 hour ban, depending on how serious his violation was. He also gets a link to the rule he broke.
The second illegal post he makes means a three day ban.
If he still doesn't understand it, and goes on spamming/flaming, he gets a 2 week ban.

• Stricter moderating of the file archive.

All stolen uploads lead to a demand to remove the file immediately. If the person refuses to, he gets a 3 day ban and DC will be asked to remove the file himself.

• Thread authors will be able to go slightly off-topic.

Thread authors will be able to go slightly off-topic in their threads, if they promise to get back on track in a few posts (2-3 maximum). They will also be able to warn a spammer that they will report him, without getting an off-topic violation.

• Drug-related names.

Users with drug related names (such as cannabis1998 or smkweederryday99) will be asked to change their names. UnrealSoftware shouldn't be displayed in Google search results related to drugs.

• Being arrogant.

Acting as a supreme being and being an arrogant ass towards others won't be tolerated. Everyone is equal.

• WIP threads

WIP (Work-In-Progress) threads will be closed unless enough proof is provided that the mod/project is being worked on and at least 30% of work has been finished.

This is a part of my program.
