@user Mora_rus: Interesting. Only happens with SG552/AUG with zoom as far as I can tell. Will be fixed in next update.

macOS Catalina is out and it seems like the Mac version of cs2d 1.0.0.9 isn't working anymore. Can you take a look?

Is CS2D for Mac OS a 32-bit or 64-bit app? That might have something to do with it not working on Catalina since Catalina stopped supporting 32-bit apps.

Yes exactly. I also thought its maybe about that.

Oh, okay... BlitzMax (the engine/programming language used to create CS2D) is 32 bit only. Therefore I can't fix it without recreating the entire game with another engine. Sorry

Maps from around 2013 (31/05/2013 in the video below) have this weird issue in both spectating, editing and playing:

The recording software was crap because it's meant for streaming and it's 2AM, originally played in 1600x900.

Also which resolution are you using? To me it looks like this is an resolution issue and not a map issue.

As I said I was using 1600x900 and the recording software was bad.

It happens with multiple maps from that era.

Sometimes bots act like ninjas: they fly over the map and kill you while doing that weird movement

@user SQ: Ah, yes, most likely. Probably only need to adjust the old rendering code.

@user Goo: Yes, shouldn't be a big problem to fix it.

@user Quattro: I highly recommend to always disable physics... I assume that user SQ did not test it with bots when implementing it and there are also several other issues as far as I know.

Edit: Old map rendering will be fixed with next release.

@user DC: Since you are talking about the next update, could you add an option to deactivate the original purchase menu of the game?
I want to use the B key on my server to open my own purchase menu but being coded in the client I can't do it correctly.

You can disable purchases and use this new menu in another key. Also a centered message explainning to use the new key to buy weapons. People will get used to it.

@user DC: in that case could you add a return value to Menu?

I was using

to deactivate the original client menu, but not having a return value, I can't close it automatically.

I understand that you don't want to modify the client, but could I add the return value to a menu, I do not see that it is too complicated, and cs2d will be much more accessible for server edition, it is a modification that I have been waiting for quite some time and I have asked for it many times ._.

@user M3_Quick: This thread is for bug reports so it shouldn't be used to discuss feature requests. Can you please create a new thread explaining exactly what you want to do and how you would want that return value to work? Because I don't quite get what you mean.
