Hey DC, how about adding new trigger/enty by map editor for mappers to add driveable cars just like in half life / counter strike
de_jeepathon2000, I know that can be scripted but it will never be real and stable and it will made from img so other players will not be able to seat with another player in car, so DC please make driveablecars for cs2d that will be able to be spawned from MAPEDITOR!.

@user routeXYZ: i hardly doubt that this will be added as cs2d is based on valve's counterstrike releases and there's also no drivable car in the standardversions. This simply wont be counter strike anymore.

Ye, though. I don't really believe it will be implemented PLUS it's possible to script such a thing as multiple people being in one car.

@user Rainoth: yea thats right, but the portalgun is known from valve's amazing game "portal" also the laser is taken from valve's games i guess. Also those two things run without a massive engine change or tons of scripting, the car thingy will be alot of work for a very small benefit which will probably ruin the whole game as it is. Could be battlefield2d then..

I agree with XoOt here, although however tempting it is, this game is Counter-strike 2D.

Doesn't mean it has to be scripted with lua. Just having possibility to do it is already enough. It's not that hard to do actually.

You all know CS2D, right? There are zombies, there is construction, there is CTF and domination, lasers, portals, satchel charges.. You should know that I just add things when I want to add them and that I totally don't care if they are in the real CS or not.
I simply think this way: It might be fun? Add it!

user XoOt is 100% right though. All (or at least most of) those custom things I added have one thing in common: They were easy to add. Adding vehicles would be a significant amount of work (I mean REALLY significant) and it bares a huge potential for tons of new bugs. That's actually the only REAL reason why there are no vehicles yet because I indeed think that they would be much fun (only for custom fun maps of course, not for CS2D standard matches!).

Freelock in mode "own team only" for spectators. I know that was 1000 times but we need it, really. DC look at this and gimme answer, pls.

Allowing free look in the "own team only" spec mode would make that mode pointless because you would be able to spectate enemies then (and to tell your team mates what the enemy is doing). But it would indeed make sense to allow it for players who are just spectators... hm... this of course could be abused by switching to the spectators when dead and afterwards back to the team...

Btw why you don't implement a auto mix mode in cs2d? Would be fun for some guys start playing competitive maps , aleast is better than make a system like matchmaking.

Simply add a new specmode and add something like the free look but just make the teammates visible so you cant see the opponents. Display your mates & the fow also the field your mates can view

Abused by switching? Now also is it possible but this is our problem. In tournaments we can lock teams or impose penalties for switching. By the way, hook join not working perfect e.g.:

On join player has spectators team. I think problem is in other place, because in logs I have lines:

hope in next update , when someone shoot Motov or Flamethrower the player that has been hit should be in fire for some seconds and maybe in RPG ?

I agree with the burning effect.Flamethrower's damage should be lowered and add a burning effect.Idk about the molotov the burst damage of it is very useful but the burning effect can be added as well.
