@user XoOt: I understand your idea but it's unlikely that I'm going to add it. It would break a significant amount of existing code and take a lot of time to implement and I don't think that this feature (which probably would confuse [new] players) is worth that effort.

have the option of adding more than 2 teams to a game via menu or script. could be fun in construction sandbox mode or ctf where u would have to capture 2 or more flags instead of just one...could be interesting.

lazy way would be to just add lua functionality to add player id's as whitelisted/blacklisted to any of a specific players buildings or specific buildings.

Make a deathmatch selecting weapons, and creating respawn in the map..
Create a generator competition with 5 players or alone just search a dedicated server and play with unknown players. Mod's how DM, Competitive, Forfun, CTF in generator and patents to hang with people of the same level, create too assists in kill's. I think doing these things the game will be popular.

CSGO style? I more like 'Find Server' than matchmaking..

Add game mode: Competitive (csgo style)
add recoil for weapons. also make commands for recoil so you can modify or disable it, or just put it as default cs2d.
Voice chat is *reaaaaaaaaaally* needed in the game as well. Just saying, even tho it's "forbidden" to suggest about it. lol. Have a nice day xd

Please stop repeating stuff which has already been suggested 1000 times. Especially the voice crap which is one of the most suggested features. I'm tired of answering the same stuff again and again.

Please read the entire thread before posting a suggestion or at least use the search function! Also note the very first post in this thread! It's absolutely crucial that you read it and do what it says!

Not saying that I need voice chat, but is it really hard to implement voice chat with a mute function as well (or something that completely disables voice chat)?
Lots of games have voice chat and it's not abused, and if someone is being annoying you can simply mute him.

It works even in COD (just an example).

No. Just no. It's abused in almost every game. Whenever I see a game have voice chat, I leave it on for a while and after less than 20 minutes I have disable it because there's constantly someone flaming, playing music, trolling, screaming, whining or similar.

@user Random guy: Yes, it would be a huge problem because the simple network layer of CS2D is not designed to handle the voice chat traffic properly (with lower priority than the actual game traffic). So it would probably lead to bad lags and other issues.

I could of course simply use an additional UDP connection but this would be a dirty hack which again would lead to other problems (simple equation: more used ports = more problems).

Also keep in mind that CS2D is played by a lot of people with very bad systems and connections. This feature would completely kill their connection unless they disable it.

The best solution is so incredibly simple:
• When playing with clans use a voice chat software like teamspeak or whatever. No in-game voice chat can compete with professional voice chat software.
• for other use-cases: Well, they don't exist at all! You DO NOT want to use voice chat on a public server! This doesn't work! Kiddie hell!

Lag would be indeed an issue if we look it that way :I , especially for people playing on toasters.

@user Hajt / user Random guy: Nice idea to improve the usability and also not too hard to implement. Added to to-do list I will also probably make ESC perform the default cancel/close action (and just open the quit menu when there is no other window opened already)

this is just a idea, but can be create 3D option (Toggle off/on) for tiles on 3D (Only idea)

Thin walls would break the engine and lead to too many problems. Unfortunately - because I would love to add it.
