It really depends on lots of factors, but if the specs of your system aren't very good, then there's no judge, the server will probably lag.
but currently i upload... so i think now will be bad statistic

Edit: Now it's 3. Server is online for me, I will give you details of my ping and such later.
Change it to a bigger map which possibly uses the lighting system. If that works without problems then your server is good.
my server:
Intele celeron 1,2Ghz
Memory 512
40gb hdd
but i said now uploading... so i think if upload finished the ping will be better

- Debian Linux 6.0
- 10gb HDD
- 256 MB RAM

Edit: Wait, you just said 512MB, if you only have 256 I'd highly recommend only 1 very popular construction server. If you're planning a dust it's possible to run 2--but once you have a construction I'd probably just leave it like that.

I removed the port and accessed your website which seems to be hosted somewhere there, I don't really know if it's on your VPS.

There, I can see the server.cfg file of your server. You shouldn't set permissions to 755 for everything. It is required just for the cs2d_dedicated application. You may want to fix that since now we can all see your server settings.
i am totally idiot... fixed:D I would recommend at least 2 cores and 512mb's of RAM
