well soetimes i can't open anything exept PB and LS. i just suggest:
1. you said can't open IE right, so use another browser
2. did you trying what user Apache uwu said?
user Apache uwu has written
Start -> Run -> Cmd -> ping 74.125.225.64
i make it more clear, Press Windows Key and R > type "cmd" without quotes at there > then type "ping <site you want to ping>" without quotes and change <site you want to ping> to what site you want to ping > see, if it works. i don't know the next, but if not(it says Request Timed Out) check the site address, if exists, well, you have modem problem.
solution: change your modem.

It's the firewall. Unblock IE, Xfire, MSN, CS2D, etc. from the firewall.

And seriously, use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Internet Explorer isn't really that fast.

If you're problem is done, make us some sandwich.

@user Ahmad: Bloody hell, leave her alone. The fact that you've seen 2.5 girls on the Internet doesn't mean you have to annoy and question every other girl/woman you see. You'd be surprised which people play games such as CS2D casually.

If your pc is 64bit, and it was 32 bit before, try this.
Send your pc to workers to format it, but ask them to make 32-bit. Ask them to install NOD32, others suck and always block the internet. Then ask them to install every important 32-bit programs. If it not works, no way to make it. Buy a new PC+Modem.
I'm a fuckin Genius

Before you do that, try testing your MTU - Your DMZ might be working and handing out IP's to devices that connect to it, but what you might be experiencing is that your modem is attempting to transfer packets of data that are bigger than it's MTU can handle.

Open up your cmd prompt and type "www.google.com -f -l 1500", if all four ping packets time out or state that they need to be defragmented and that their DF was set, your network obviously cannot handle that high of an MTU. Try pinging www.google.com with that function in the cmd with decreasing numbers until you hit an MTU that's low enough for your network to handle. I'm guessing it might be 1300.

Once you know for certain what MTU your network can handle, go to your modem's settings page (I presume you know how to get to it via typing your default gateway's IP and logging in as an admin via your web browser) and go and find your MTU settings page, find it, open it, and change whatever MTU rating you might have to your new MTU rating that you've tested by pinging Google.

If that doesn't fix your network, then it may be quite simple: Buy a new modem. If your network is presumed to be set up the way it should be, but for some reason refuses to work, then I'm pretty sure your modem has carked it.
