I think you (like most people) have forgotten that not everybody is going to like what you like.
i know there has to be hates but atleast try the game they dont even play it and they hate on it thats the problem

Nothing against MW2 at all, i even bought it at Steam and i still play it Online with friends at Special Ops, which is pretty hard.

But now they came up with MW3, same crap, nothing new, stupid fast-reloading, infinite health (regeneration is even faster now), 1 shot kills, level up crap, and stupid kiddies online.
Watch this and you got my reasons to think Activision is a fucking failed enterprise for keeping up with this game serie like that:

I am totally not buying a crap DLC for 60 dollars, it's not even worth 10 dollars.

COD4 MW1

The 1st MW was a total innovation for FPS games in that is allowed players the ability to extensively modify the stock guns & their load out gear to their own personal needs in the possess allowing for vast variability when it comes to gameplay.

The point based leveling system was also new to mainstream FPS games which also added another unique aspect to gameplay.

That said that 1st one was far from realistic and was never intended to be. It was intended to be another COD style game with a modern look and feel to it at which is seceded & even excelled at.

The cons were that weapons were CS like not taking into account of weather or not a round was chambered thus every reload was always the same.

Other minor issues also existed with the weapon models them selves most notably the sniper optical scopes adjustment knobs being on either the wrong or both sides and the bolt on the Vz 61 Skorpion was raised when it was supposed to be flush against the frame of the gun. Another big issue is that the RPD in MW1 is missing its rear sight ... yea thats right the whole rear sight is missing on the model. >>

The red dot site and ACOG are all generic knock offs from the real things to and used the same models on all the weapons. The ACOG lens is also completely fake and generic "also dam near useless in game if I dont say so my self but then again there is no bullet drop so meh whatever".

The greatest issue of all tho would be the inconsistency of weapon damage in the game where the guns simply are far too Hollywood ish in their behavior. For example the RDS reduces accuracy and the suppressors reduce damage which makes no sense and it would not affect balance if they were left alone yet thy pointlessly affect weapon behavior. The ACOG magically increases weapon accuracy and damage as well which again makes no sense. Weapons that also have the same caliber ammunition also have inconsistent weapon damage which again begs the question WTF?

The fact that the grenades from grenade launchers dont explode on contact with soft targets like humans for example is a real realism bonus too. The only down side to the grenade launchers is that you unfortunately cant use the grenade sights. The most annoying aspect tho is that only the AK uses the Russian GP-30 GL while every other guns uses a generic American M203 ... The G-36 weapons should have had their German made AG-36 launchers instead it would have made the game look less redundant.

The only redeeming factor of the weapons is their customization and they decent animations.

Its not so much a question of realism as it is of consistency which all MW games badly lack.

MW2 & 3

Again pretty much the same issues here.

The weapon models here also suffer form way too much tacti kewl crap added to them even on the stock weapons. Tactical addons are like cheap vodka only good in moderation.

These 2on the other hand do have a great addition to them and that dynamic weapon animations that take into account on weather the weapon ha a round chambered of if its empty with empty reload animations being slightly longer than full ones. And for compulsive re loaders like me thats great as every time I top off a mag I get 1 extra round in the gun IE M4 or AK with 31 rounds.

Another great addition is that MW3 brought back the G36 and added more Russian made weapons.

MW2 always sucked ass since the Russians in that game are just plain fucked up. Why the fuck would Russian Paras wear red brick camo makes no fucking sense at all. They also gave them just about every other gun in the world but only 3 fucking guns were actually Russian WTF. and even then the AK model IS NOT RUSSIAN its based off of a semi auto US made copy produced and sold in Las Vegas dammit.

MW2 and even 3 should have had at least any one the following Russian weapons listed here. At least one of these would have been nice man >>
