I can't remember that I ever said that video tags would lag. They won't unless you have a crappy computer and a crappy browser. I'm still not sure whether I'll add them or not.

If you do ever add them, be sure to nest them automatically within "spoiler" tags, except rename them "view inserted video" so that we don't get entire threads being stretched by video flash objects.

Bbcode for text size and color would be nice for file uploads, that way you can style and organize your stuff.
