When gameplay are at the same we look at the graphics...
Edit: the game play isn't the same...however it's kinda the same genre

Would you want to play a game with awesome game with poor graphics or a game with awesome game play and awesome graphics?

It's easier to die in sII though no doubt.

Yes, I wanna play awesome game with awesome game with poor graphics

However, how an awesome game can have awesome game with poor graphics inside? Mini-game with poor graphics?

nvm, it's awesome anyway

I guess both are good.

Minecraft :
∗ Build all the shit you want in this world.
∗ Enemies are awesome.
∗ World generator seed (Can generate really awesome mountains and ravines).
∗ Creative crafting.
° No objective (Bored after a week of playing).
° Graphics?
° Hard to understand how to use a mod.
° Lag most of the time playing it.

Stranded :
∗ Adventure game with objective to get out of an island.
∗ Free game is always good.
∗ Real survival with puzzles on creating tools.
∗ Able to create maps you want.
° Limited terrain. (Can't travel from the island to find another island).
° Building is too boring. (Right click, right click, right click, right click, right click, right click, right click).
° Limited on what you can build.
° Graphics too?

That's all I know.

If you cant come up with sensible reasons, then shut up.

Stranded two doesn't have objectives either. Only campaign that is 4 hours long.

Texture packs are always an alternative. Some of them have better graphic, then crysis.

° Hard to understand how to use a mod.

Then you must be pretty dumb. IQ - TEQ

Minimal requirements for minecraft are

Cpu : Pentium 4 2.4GHz

RAM: 1gb

HDD space: 1gb

Direct X : 9

This is nothing compared to todays computers.
If your pc didn't met minimum requirements, it is nothing more then piece of scrap looted from junkyard.

Main reason why stranded 2 has some votes here is because it is made on site where most of the players play stranded 2. They didnt play or cant afford minecraft.

Now the funny part "Me like strand3d 2 iz free, minecraft iz not freeee. Game suckz ass"

Polite ? How can i be polite while reading such a bullshit. My brain will turn into taco. Most of the people saying that minecraft sucks, are jealous that they cant afford it or play it, and other half is close to fanboys.

If it sucks then why the hell i cant see some sensible reasons, why ?

This thread is like CS2D vs CS original. CS2D is awesome because its free. That is not reason why to hate. If you are poor then say it straight and don't say it sucks.

i dont think anybody in this thread can't afford Mindcraft
but Mindcraft is definitely not worth $20.

First of all the graphics are horrible (even compared to S2).

Then it's just to blocky, all you do is gather and place blocks to build things, and there's no adventure mod and not as many mods (and the ones that exist arent too good and only modify a couple of things)

Well to be honest, minecraft has improved greatly over the years. The newer version of survival mode is interesting, and I've run some of the more advanced mods such as one that turns it into a large, civilization-like mode where you provide cities with resources and watch the citizens actually build the buildings and stuff.

People are getting better and better at modding that game. I remember what it was like years ago and its come a long way. The online "Bukkit" scripts for multiplayer is eliminating most of the greifing that goes on and opening up whole new ways of playing including multiple-world servers connected by many different methods and script based gameplay.

I'm a big fan of "Classic" games and graphics aren't really that important to me, just gameplay and flexibility.

you are obviously stupid. You didnt play minecraft. Dont say you did because if you would then you would know that texture packs are soltion for this problem. Graphic is not all and i like it blocky.

Only retard would rate game without playing it.

Never heard of Mindcraft, is it about building neurons and stuff?

Better intentionally blocky than simple not detailed 3d models.

In Stranded all you do is surviving, punching lions and being restricted to a finite medium island.
In minecraft there is lots of mods that completely change the gameplay, but you don't look smart enough to find them.

There's much more to Minecraft than gathering and placing blocks. You can explore the Nether, mine, craft stuff, create potions, enchant items, and explore the overworld.
No adventure mod?
Minecraft doesn't need an adventure mod...
Mods only modify a couple of things?
Search for the Aether Mod.
Also, graphics don't make a game.

Well you can argue a reason is because mc is massively multiplayer while s2 is only single player.

I played both games, MC somewhere is quite inlogical (S2 is quite inlogical as good.)

There is always a choose of pirate of MC, (I played for free) (search for: the pirate bay, DOT!!!, net)

Both games have TOTTALY OTHER ENGINE! In S2 trees falls with all the leaves, in MC you can't make it to fall in such a way, you can make that logs can fall, if under it has no objects, BUT leaves WILL fly into the air as long as there will be a log somewhere close to it, OR disapear.

You can make a mod in S2, to add the feutures from MC, (I'm thining about it all the time, but I am not a good scripter, and I don't know about modeling much as good, so I think, I will simply think about the mod like that, but not to start the job ).
