palomino: The shields may be gay only to those idiots who don't know how to counter them. People bitch about the awp all the time too yet it remains and in source is cheaper than ever >>.
Tho there should be some leeway with the tac shield as it should not be 100% bullet proof. It would be more fair if it just stopped small caliber weapons like say all the pistols, shotguns, and sub machine guns since their ammo is non armor piercing. The only exceptions would be the FN 5-7 and FN P90. But yea all other AP weapons like rifles, MGs, & sniper rifles would actually penetrate the shield with reduced damage just like with the kevlar armor.
