NO MORE FUCKING MOVING HIT BOXES D:<

This is one of the main reasons CS:S blows >>

A proper registry system and realistic weapon hit vales are also recommended. Again is CS:S its all too often that you can shoot an enemy player point blank see the blood effects and only wind to shot dead by him were you can conveniently see in the screenshot death image that he is still at 100 HP >>

I think you're talking about its latency compensation system. Bullets are treated as physical objects within CSS and most other source games, and as such, their hit collision system is actually fairly advanced. If I remember correctly, global offensive will still use the Source engine, with updated graphics and better player movement.

The following rounds would NOT penetrate kevlar and damage the player but would do a small amount of damage "wear and tear so to speak" on the kevlar armor it self.

45 ACP, .38 cal & .38 special, 9x19mm Parabellum, .357 Sig, 9x18mm Makarov "both PM & PMM", .50 cal AE, .44 magnum, .41 Magnum, .357 Magnum. 4,10,12, & 20 Gauge shotgun shells, 7.62x25mm Tokarev, .40 cal S&W & other such rounds usually pistol, smg, and shotguns would not be able to penetrate body armor.

Given the money management system, and the rumors that players will all start off with kevlars, this could easily make the game careen in one direction and make it next to impossible to recover from an early lost round.

Also, CS has traditionally and will most likely still continue to target the esport field. MW like games doesn't exactly sit well with that genre. At the same time, CS isn't usually played in a DM like fashion, so fast-paced doesn't really make sense for it. It would be great for some of the community made game modes like gungame, but since it's already possible to tweak these intrinsics within those mods, the standard game should continue cater to round based games.

My ideas weren't MW like >> My ideas are grounded in realism which is original as a matter of fact as no retail game excluding the OFP and ARMA series have ever tried to be realistic.

MW is nothing but unrealistic arcady shit and that's not what i would want thew new CS to be like

As for the non AP weapons it would depends on the ammo they use. Many pistol and PDW are capable or penetrating body armor so its not like it would be one sided. The Russian 9x19mm AP round can be used for example with the Dual elites and Glock certainly evening the playing field.

The kevlar for example should also show up on the player model when you equip them.

But more or less im reserving my realism ideas for a possible future Source mod of mine CS Reborn AKA CS Reality Mod.

NO, NO and NO!
After TF2 became free there was a huge amount of kids, there were enough, and now their number is 3 times bigger.
Pay-to-play games = you have to have money to play them = you are not a kid

What I really want to see in this game is that there would be a campaign mode like what they did in condition zero. And adding new weapons and iron sights would be nice.

Sounds good, although I can't see it working on any console whatsoever. I'm assuming that Valve are putting it on a console to create DLC out of it.

If anything, I think it would work fine on PC but not a console, because just about any FPS that I see on a console has ADS targeting.

Valve is not Bungie
They dont put games only on consoles...
The also put them on pc...
So dont worry they will be playable on pc and maybe on consoles...(Ps3,Xbox360)
But i dont think it will be possible to play this game on Xbox 360 or PS3...
CS:Go ON PS3 OR XBOX 360 IS A DUMB IDEA
Even pro's will play like newbies...
Cause playing with a xbox 360 controller or ps3 controller is like building a house with legs only...

Haha i dont think that is the main problem. Servers on cs are really custom and every server has some download. Now tell me. How do you want to download game right trought console into cd ? I dont think that cs WILL be on consoles. It is inpossible.

It could be possible only with console servers but it wouldnt be fun. playing on 15 maps with same style is boring. No zombies or deadmatch or anything like that.

I don't think it will ever sell a good amount of copies, let alone be a decent playable game.

If it isn't Call of Duty (or a clone of it) then it will probably get flagellated like it's the antichrist.

You're pretty much right on the point that a lack of modifications and custom servers won't be available. PSN generally uses P2P connection anyway, so you can imagine me (UK) playing with a connection from Australia.

Like I said on my last post, I'm reckoning Valve is doing it to get a bit more money.

I'd hate to be horrible and do this, but > http://uk.gamespot.com/xbox/action/counterstrike/index.html

You don't get that many advantages though. With Portal 2 on the PS3, you were able to connect with people playing on PC, get steam achievements AND you could get a copy of Portal 2 on PC if you bought it brand new for the PS3.

Valve is pro's at creating things...
I think they can create some kind of megaupload thing...
But only for Steam Premium Users...
And thats when will tf2 be realy playable for xbox 360!
Updates,Downloads and now hats and weapons...
It would be popular like Modern Warfare 2
Modern Warfare 2 More realistic that is true, but Team Fortress 2 have the most interesting weapons and hats that could be found in games(and its free and legal)...
And you dont have to EVEN PAY FOR WEAPONS NOW!
There is some servers that give weapons when you type on command!
So you dont have to pay for that either...
But only for hats...
But you can find crates some where...
So i guess everything free now...
Thats why Mw2 Fails!

While I don't agree with them being "pro", as you say, I will agree that they do make some good moves with their games.

Far as I know, the console versions of Team Fortress 2 blow ass and even then I don't think a lot of people use The Orange Box anymore on consoles, except the PC.

Problem is, that because Call of Duty is such a well known game series people buy into it. Realism is always going to end up falling on them, especially when you compare the amount of games that are setting themselves into the future with the Iraq War or whatever the fuck Activision uses to keep their series on-going.

Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3 and Resistance 3 (which are all on a console) look the same, with a few minor changes. But because people like the look and style of it (with the ADS and so on) people will just overlook half the games that don't use those features.

user PivotBot has written

There are no modifications or admin controls to do anything on a console. Even then, I don't think it would allowed because PSN and XBL have a policy of no modifying or hacking of their consoles.

user PivotBot has written

The reason the Call of Duty games fail (and now suck) is because people keep buying it. The same way as shitty films keep hitting cinemas because people keep buying it. If people stopped buying stupid shit such as map packs, costumes and sequel after sequel then it wouldn't be a problem.
