Hello,

I've got a new project in mind: de_ChalmunsCantina (Or de_MosEisley for most people). I think it's a really good location for a de_ map because:

- There's an "energy core" close to the canteen, which can be bombed
- There are many small chambers in the canteen
- Breakable objects are easy to implement, because there are a lot of objects in the canteen
- I think almost everyone here knows the canteen
- It has to be done anyway

I've found a lot of good sources showing the whole canteen on a detailed map, and I think it won't be hard to create it that way. The references are:

I guess I'll need a tileset and some sprites to start making the map, but at the moment I'm working on a layout.

Suggestions:

Breakable tables (Completed)
Killable guests
Crowd noise, which will get softer when people get killed
Explodable stuff (Beer bottles, some space ships)
Weapon mods (Lightsaber, lazer rifles)

So if anybody wants to help me with anything, PM me or tell in comments.
I'm not leaving my other projects alone (CSP_Highrise, CSP_Missions_3), but this is my first priority atm.

Excellent idea, but you may need to up the scale quite a bit* as otherwise it will be a very small map.

I already tought of that, because there are many small chambers and obstacles which are really good to add to the map.
Otherwise, it hasn't to be a too big map, due to the walk distances.

*Note: the walls are now salmon colored to make it look like clay*

Full map (don't mind the windows, they are gonna be just hole-like)

Version 3 of CSP_ChalmunsCantina (or CSP_MosEisley). The normal houses feature diagonal walls aswel, and the cantina is a little bit nicer (with the arches)

Here is a overview of the Mos Eisley Cantina "neighborhood" areas.

The Command Post number 4 is the cantina, it's main door is at the diagonal part of the building, and the back door is right under the circle part.
Ill send you a overview of how it should be in CS2D.
