Well, this topic got me real interested in our human capabilities.
A friend and me talk about anything under the sun at school: Conspiracies, religious views, all that stuff. Today, he mentioned to me about "Indigo Children". What was it, I was curious.
So, I went to Wikipedia and typed it in. Sure enough, I got a result. It said:
>Indigo children is a pseudoscientific label given to children who are claimed to possess special, unusual and/or supernatural traits or abilities.
I read on, and learned that they are described as "the next step in human evolution." And that they were smarter, and seemed more emotionally capable of understanding problems than the average human.
This seemed interesting to me, & I just wanted to see what you guys think.

'Indigo children' also suffer from multiple mental disorders and are very common cancer patients, think about that for Evolution. They might be smarter but it's like being gifted, you might get something like musical talent beyond belief, but it comes with multiple other disorders such as Sensory Intergration.

Sometimes we have to come to our senses and just start to understand why it's like that. In example the Hiroshima a-bomb disaster. That caused disorders to the asians (so I've heard) if we're human we'd understand that, we need to realise what we are doing to mankind and not just point the finger and say "haha you're special" because it might someday happen to you. Doesn't really matter. Anyone can learn to play piano, and so on. It's just your own limitations that stop you and/or disabilities. But if you really were having that ability to play 100 hard to play songs on piano then uhm, you're special.

I personally know how to play some songs on the piano, but I'm not special because of that am I? ah well. Practice makes perfect all I can say. Indigo children are not really next step in humans they're just apart of it, just like everybody else. Otherwise it would be discrimination against the entire population in general (a.k.a. the Hitler era all over again) correct me if I'm wrong.

Actually, that is exactly what evolution has done to mankind. The human genome is actually some kind of trash bin with unused, defect or sometimes even harmful genes. For instance aids - humans once had the capability of withstanding the HIV virus, but evolution disabled the gene that was responsible for it and look where it has gotten us.

Being self conceited is not special Sunny.

What I meant, was that every second person on the planet fits in with "indigo" characteristic. Most people on US are like that. That stuff is just crap, it's just that someone is smarter.

No, indigo children are very different. They are similar to what gifted children get, except it's a helluva lot more strong. I remember hearing of someone who was born blind but could 'see' tastes and sounds. It's all actually BAD things that are happening, it might be amazing for the rest of us but indigo children are more likely to end up like the Somalian albinos ( Wondering around without love/other people/easily affected by the sun ) than the next generation of humans.
