lolwut? It is much better than most other MMORPGs out there, and the fact there is hundreds of thousands of weapons and armor makes it almost un-finish-able.
Plus, if you don't want to pay you can always play on private servers (I am not encouraging this, if you have accepted Blizzards Terms it is illegal for you). I do that.

p2p MMORPG games are FULL S**T
f2p MMORPG games are idiots...
Conclusion: MMORPG games are s**t, and for the WoW fans, you think WoW is the best game, but it's a old game, great and actual MMORPG games are starting to release...
But MMORPG games in my opinion are idiots, it's always the same thing, click and kill a magic monster, get some random items, deliver idiot and boring quests to NPCs to get anti-social life experience and grown up in your anti-social life level!! Look how cool it is
MMORPG are for unskilled people, you only have to pay, so you can buy expensive items from the "Gold" or "Member" shop and show you can click the monster and kill them with your magic weapon!!! YAAAYYY!!!

It's my opinion...

I like games that you must have skill to be someone, not a nerd that stays on the computer all the whole day playing the game...
Like CS: Source, Half-Life 2, those are games that you need skill...
CoD MW2... Halo, even CS2D...

Whoa there! There's no need to bash MMORPG players to the point of calling them unskilled. Sure there are people out there who live off playing MMORPG's, they can't help it. Not all of them are unskilled though.

I was, and still am a bit of an avid f2p MMORPG gamer. I haven't experienced the big guns such as WoW, PSU, and many of the other p2p games out there, but that's not my point. CS2D used to be my life back then, which you stated as game for "skill", and I still continued to play MMORPG's. I still play COD4 today achieving great scores most of the time.

tl;dr

Don't judge people because of the games they play. Skill is needed in many games. ;]

Yeah, i know how much skill is need on MMORPGs, at least in 75% of them, of course you achieve great scores in CoD, because as you say'd, you don't play ONLY MMORPGs...

People who only play MMORPGs are accustomed (i think it's how it's say'd in english) in only clicking on monsters... clicking in skills hah! 9000 damage.

But games who need skills are normally FPs ones... you must aim, have reflexes, and quick trigger (reflexes anyway).

On MMORPG you need what? Money... that's all...

It's my opinion, im not offending anyone...

@Joapcvcastro your comms are actually very offensive. Not every mmo gamer is a nerd. Actually there is a fair amount of nerds playing cs. Kids playing COD, of course you will find them everywhere. You fail because actually mmorpgs have the least amount or kids playing them, you will always find a mature community.. well there are some *cough*runescape*cough* exceptions.
Also mmorpg is one of the few genres that actually requires brain. No wonder you don't find them interesting.

I have played every single goddamn genre out there, and I don't feel like trashing any of them. Each one is interesting and challenging in its own way.

The problem with this genre is (what I think) the combat system, for example:
In WoW, the higher level, the huger number of special abilities, that you have to use, if you don't want to get assraped in any combat situation. Being able to use these abilities in any non-clumsy/non-failing way, is with macros, key-bindings etc etc. And, you also have to be quite a geek... What I also don't like is without all these abilities, combat really isn't dynamic enough. Just two people standing there punching each other, some very rare times, one blocks or dodges.
Age of Conan adds a little more dynamics to combat with the fact that you press 1,2 or 3 to attack from left, above or right. And the that you can do this pretty much anytime you like, is pretty sweet. Still the monotone running around doing the same boring quests in the same boring environment, makes this genre less popular than others.

Thank you, for bothering to read all this...
(wow, can't believe I wrote all that xD)

That's not dynamic to me. And that's exactly what I was talking about.
If you like to play things like this, I can't blame you. It just isn't my type of games.

Sorry @Time, but i haven't say'd MMORPG games are for nerds, i just LOVE The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, the combat system is amazing, i don't like much MMORPGs because you don't need much skill in combat as a good FPS requires... it doesn't matter if you have a f**k'in great aim or reflexes, you can die for little immature kids just because of your level, i think the MMORPGs today should be like Oblivion, you don't need only level or great weapons to kill your enemy, you need SKILL.

Anyway, you're right, kids are everywhere, but this doesn't matter, only ignore 'em...

Im off, im feeling that if i continue complaining about MMORPG games there will be a discussion, and i don't want enemys.

P.S.: YAY! HL2 has finally finished downloading :B

I am serious, i prefer Oblivion, and i don't have PS3 or XBOX360 because im not a rich guy. It's way better to spend money on a good computer than in consoles.

Oblivion is the unique game i've played and liked... so Fallout isn't anything to me

Games that i like:
•Splinter Cell Saga
•The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
•Source engine games (most part of them, such as CS:S and L4D 1 & 2)
•Halo: Reach
•Killzone Saga
• And others, but my favorites are those above /\

And you can't say a game IS BETTER than other, people have they own opinion, it's not why you play a game that this game IS BETTER, but you THINK it's better

And we are talking about MMORPGs, and most part of them are Medieval/Fantasy ones...
And Fallout isn't medieval
My opinion...
