It would be better to release the whole mod at once.
I'm assuming it would be a standalone download with most of CS2D changed into HL2D, not just a gfx replacement pack?
I'm looking forward to the singleplayer though,
that's what it's all about with Half-Life.
We are also working on a complete remake of the campaign for single player or coop game play.
Out 1st alpha release will be purely gfx and sfx to mimic classic deathmatch while playing online.

Yea I have all the player models completed and bug free just need someone to help me properly texture and shade them while I work on the rest of the equipment and gear.
All CTs "Black Mesa Personnel" and Ts "USMC HECU" are finished and there are 3 optional VIPs Dr Rosenberg from Decay and Blue Shift, A clean suit scientists, & the cut beta construction worker/engineer Gus. Im thinking about adding another VIP of either Gman or Eli Vance.

P.S: any plans of making a HL2:2D mod?
As you can see development is painfully slow with this mod as it is seeing as only NTD and I are the only active developers ... We still need a lua scripter badly and I could release my player pack today even if I wanted to tho I need some one to properly shade mine while I work on the weapons.
I simply dont have the time to properly work on all the lil details
I already PMed zero and e agreed to help but thus far he has been unresponsive ... might just have to release it all as is once I finish tweaking the weapons and finding all the right sounds for them.

Night Till Death: I think CirtarTheEpic want to be skinner. ill be combing all of his current work along with mine and am preparing for a major update sometime this year but no promises due to this lil bump in the road so to speak.
Given the fact that only DC has the source code I am severely limited in what I can do with the mod atm. if DC cant help code wise then I will be forced to port all content to CS2D 1.0 open source and continue development from there as a pure indie game.
Its for this reason ive been quietly learning Lua and blitzmax for quite some time now ... its a pain in the ass but hopefully it will be worth it.
As for the dev team the following positions are still needed. Some experience is required.

the Unforeseen Consequences is a reference to G-man and the HL2 chapter
But yea seems DC is swamped with development with CS2D and all his other projects so im gona move towards porting all HL2D content to the open source version of CS2D ... wish me luck

and very nice idea cantt't wait the final result!
Losing his work would be a major set back in the projects as he has most of starkz lua based NPCs such as the hound eye and alien grunt.
His maps are also quite extensive as mine are primarily focused on experimenting with new tile sets with a top down view just like it would look if you no clipped in HL and looked from above the maps.
