This is basically a compilation of non-useless ideas/suggestions.

Well based off of all the ideas i seen here both good & bad im wondering weather or not we should get some people together & create a poll with all the ideas & have people vote for the ones they want & feel are the most important.

That way it will help DC figure out what ideas people want & consider the most important. Just for simplicity's sake

To keep out any bias I may have I will include all ideas in the poll both good & bad.

If any one is interested just PM me as we will have to skim over all the 200+ posts & collect all the data.

Acceptable Ideas:
1.Ability to create a new NPC-(probably already going to be implemented on later versions, as DC stated before.)
2.Ability to customize weapon stats.(Maybe Lua?)
3.Test Map or Preview Map Function in Map Editor.
4.Display Name of NPC when mouse hovers over it(like when you point it at real players,might need moddable name)
5.Already To Be Implemented(Ability to change super supply items)
6.My own suggestion: A CS2D Updater (for the bugs and just updates, needs to be confirmed before updating for versions)
7.Holding HE's mouse button displays a power bar that sets the range of the HE(has a limited range)(Probably needs a off or on in options)
8.Some (Default if (#2) would be accepted) weapon adjustments, firing rate, damage etc..
9.Higher ID limit for hudtxt(2)
10.Flare(weapon 54) time customize(When thrown it stays on floor for a while)
11.Ability to write Briefings for maps in map editor.
12.Ability to stack entities for maps (map editor)
13.Abillity to change Health of a npc for normal spawning(non map);health parameter for spawnnpc
14.Lua: adding tiles with parameters for obstacle/wall/walkable..etc..
15.Setting for seeing someone's rank(the one that shows when you say rank) when you roll mouse over the name in stats([tab])
16.Lua: Player's Mouse position for hudtxt x,y parameter etc..
17.Turret AI(like scripts for normal bots)
18.A default Bot AI that destroys buildings.
19.Moddable Limit of amount of projectiles,mines one can hold.
20.Non-automatic turrets; a turret that needs to be controlled by a player-[E] button. Probably builtin with a weapon setting.
21.Sniper Rifle Zoom-In on distance, without player moving to that area. The Max Distance for that zoom would have to be about 6/10 of max-distance for the shot of the sniper-rifle.
22.Lag Compensation, which is still being worked on.
23.Dead Player Model.
24.Slower Rate Of Fire from burst-mode(glock & FAMAS)
25.(Own Suggestion) A tutorial for newbies; Opens through menu Or when you start CS2D(First time, check[option] if opens every time or not)
26. [Delete](the keyboard del) shows confirmation when you try to delete in favorites tab
27.Maybe password-protected Maps (Only when you try to edit them shall the confirmation pop-up)
28.Smarter Bots.
29.Silenced Weapons do not indicate where the shot came from.
30.Ability to change tiles to n°, which will reduce size of tilesets.
31.A readsound and playsound function for lua, readsound would return the id of the sound placed in the first parameter of the function and playsound would of course, play it.
32.Language files for support of different languages (Will need people to translate)

Most likely not going to be accepted:
•CS2D Source Released
•Vehicles
•Crouching Ability
•New Weapons
•In-game game recording.(would cause too much traffic and lag the whole server up) (Records all players)

If you message me and the idea/suggestion is NOT useless in a sense that it will not be something that you can add using lua, or is just useless because its functions will cause a lot of traffic on the hosting server or if it's something like "microphone",voice chat.etc...

This is for DC to keep track of them, exactly what Phenixtri said.

On another note as for the customizable weapons Id recommend using scripts (NOT lua as that would cause lag) like in Source games that are server or client side ( which ever is better ) Just some things like :

ammo per magazine

damage per shot/hit

ammo reserve

type of ammo (Primary/secondary as well as custom designations like the ones listed here:
http://world.guns.ru/ammo/am00-e.htm
That way each gun will still use either primary or secondary ammo but when a player walks over a gun that uses the same ammo as their gun they can use it to replenish their ammo & if the dropped gun uses different ammo then yea you cant use its ammo.)

rate of fire (limited to 1000-1500 RPM as other than miniguns no gun has ever fired faster than that & its would keep idiots from lagging the server out with insanely high ROF)

accuracy ( how far apart the shots spread )

weight (On a scale of 1-10)

fire modes (2 or 3 round burst, full auto, semi auto EXC)

weapon type (sidearms, shotguns, SMGs, Rifles, Sniper rifles, MGs, EXC)

Things such as an in-game recorder and killcam would be nice. By 'killcam' I mean a recorded shot of your final kill if the player was off-screen, or well basically your opponents view of your kill.

It should be able to be turned on and off via the Options tab, much like the option to take a screenshot everytime you view the scorelist. If implemented the in-game recorder will provide less-lag recordings and higher-quality recordings for people who make montages and whatnot.

It's a big push, but nevertheless achievable.

DC should make the amount of poll Qs unlimited IE should be a little option of add 10 poll questions when making or editing a poll.

it would not do much against the recording player either, since 2d graphics are pretty simple compared to those in 3d games such as cs1.6 and recording demos in 1.6 doesn't lag at all.
