I don't get your people's kind of reasoning. Just because you became bored of the game or old cs2d 'friends' are quitting doesn't mean cs2d is dying.

Decrease in hackers? Are you crazy? I have seen atleast 12 people using health hacks in the past hour! But seriously, they have a point, all the good players/members of the forum are disapearing, and the few that still remain are subcequently attacked by Help Vampires! If you want a script, find out how Lua's Syntax and code ur own script! If you have a nice idea share it, so that others can learn. But the way it's going, others simply go to the Lua help thread and ask directly for someone to write a script for them, you should really actually learn the language and use examples as buildingblocks for your own script.
But I guess I shouldn't talk because I have never really helped anyone in the Lua help thread

First one .
Health hacking it's the number of bullets you think you've been hitting me but I keep dodging the bullets .
Aimbot , means fast Reaction .. I react fast when I see someone in a corner of my screen so when I do that , I'm called aimboter.
Speedhacking it's just the Fast buy ( buy script ) , and because I rush faster then most of oponents they call me speedhacker :).
Radar ? Radar it's just map knowning .
So let's get on topic , what about playing more Counter Strike 2D then Trying to show how good you are around this forum ?
Creative? The game it's creative alot , but you peoples forgot that you are playing a game called Counter Strike 2D
witch it has to be a CS1.6 Version.

Reaching a very high level equals being called a hacker by every newb on every newb server, so you have to play bad on purpose and reject any instinct you have at first such as shooting outside the screen because you know from experience enemies are there..all for the sake of those few idiots who think have never heard of skills, experience, senses, instincts, tactics, strategies, excetra. Afcourse you can't blame these people, it's the hackers' fault because the stupid atmosphere they bring into CS2D means people will always have a suspicious eye on skilled/good players with the thought that they might have some secret hack, this wouldn't be a problem if the idiotic hackers wouldn't be here in the first place.
it's very pathethic that people need illegal tools in order to win in the first place, it only shows how bad they are and can't play without an illegal unfair program that gives you advantages, so it's safe to assume every hacker has no skills and is an idiot ruining a freeware game made by an independant game developer..
@On-topic: CS2D dying? lol? whoever mentioned this clearly isn't thinking..
There are more players and servers and sub-communities then ever before, CS2D is growing and evolving. It is also somewhat natural to have some bad parasites in a big playerbase, the hackers will always keep up with CS2D's securities/protections, as with Counter-Strike 1.6 or Source, that's normal.. it's a constant battle.. aslong as it doesn't affect the integrity of the game such as important matches, and aslong as there admins with enough braincells to ban these rats, it is not a big issue..
Look at the amount of players, servers, clans, sub-community websites, custom content such as maps, gfx, sfx, Lua scripts, I can go on forever.
Look how many communities there are, you have the hardcore professional CS2D gamers participating in clanwars, leagues, mixmatches, etc. You have customizers such as great mappers, skinners, Lua-script creators giving alot of variety to the game. You have alot more serverhosters, hosting so many maps then before, all with their own people dedicated to them. For one CS2D means fun maps, for the other CS2D maps competetive gaming, just because a certain "group" is doing less, doesn't mean the whole game is dying.
Just because YOU are quitting/lost interest doesn't mean the game is dying, CS2D is actually growing more then ever.
Regarding the increase of somewhat stupid/kiddy users here, this should be countered with a harder administration, zero-tolerance.. too many times I see spammish/unnecesary threads/posts/comments go by unnoticed by the admins, if other people do it without a ban, then it will only encourage other kids to do it also.. a stronger administration, hand out the bans easier so that the forum can get a bit cleaner.

release them all at once, instead of episode-by-episode, this way it can be played in one go, which feels alot better. Good luck!

Ever seen someone that NEVER dies, can't hit a cow's arse with a banjo and takes like 2 hours to get 13 kills? Those are people that use health hacks, and you can tell that they are using health hacks, escpecially when you have atleast 3 decent players shooting at them non-stop, and they don't die. 12 is an over-estimation though. i think it was 9, lol. Plus, I don;t stay on one server the whole time I play. I change servers often ( unless I am on a rampage, ya' know? ), because I hate being stuck with a very small selection of maps. I do have favourites though. But that day I played a record amount of 21 servers. Some where proper well-known servers, some where normal players hosting games. And I was with sooo many people that NEVER died, that I knew that they were using health hacks.
And by the way, speedhacking doesn't make you buy faster moron, it makes you move faster. And guess what? I too can buy things extremely fast. It ain't hard. I can buy an SG552, an HE, smoke grenade, 2 flashbangs, kev & helm and an Elite, in under a second. That comes from practise and generally playing too much. I too have been called a speedhacker after lagging, I too have been called an aimbotter after AWPing 3 people with one shot, I too have been accused of using a health hack because they can't aim properly, I too have been told that I was using a maphack, but that also came form the AWP incedent.
And btw, I am DotHacker ingame, I mostly play on [LaG] Construction and maPmaKer Build.

indeed it's growing and it has grown extremely in the past few years. since cs2dmax DC has implemented so many awesome features that make this game optimal for a huge amount of players.
however, while cs2dmax is getting more and more popular the niveau of the average cs2d player is being decreased in the same matter.
in the early days you could only play 3on3 (4on4+ would be too laggy'^^), so then you needed skill and also a lot of teamplay to win.
nowadays you can play 16on16 on servers with all sorts of scripts.
the difference is that back in the days highskilled players were the winners, but playing 16on16 construction you don't need that much skill. actually if you wanna have good stats you need to play really lame (camping, spaming, let your mates rush/die first and then collect the frags^^). and that applies to 90% of all the fun mods.
so the audience of cs2d has dramatically changed in the past years from the highskilled players to the casual fun gamers. there are a lot of indications for that (a bomb plant still doesn't give all the terrorists 800$ in the next round, which has been that way in cs 1.6 for many many years... etc)

Now a days new users don't have skill at all, they just hold their mouse button and hope to get a kill. Hey, some of them just teamkill buildings. What CS2D really needs is a tutorial game with bots that is optional on the first start of the game.
Yeah.. we could even turn the idea of a tutorial game into scripts and just let someone host it~

Hell, I had a chance at moderator (so i was told by the two current moderators at that time), that woulda kept me here, cause that's like a job. I used to be on this site for more then 12 Hours a day. Not even kidding. But oh well, out with the old in with the new? Even though the old was better
