familiar keymaps and non-stop play helpedBut guys I posted this thread (after reading the rules offcourse, and tried searching for similar threads but could'nt find any), because I had to ask something .... maybe its not completely offtopic, but here it goes-
Can you Please tell if there are any other good games like CS2D ("OFPS" - overhead FPS:)
Criteria for names are-
(1) Must support at least LAN multiplayer or/and Internet multiplayer.
(2) Please do not name single player Adobe Flash based games.
I've played CS2D, Subvein and one more game i played long time back i forgot its name

My LAST QUESTION (certainly not the least) is-
Can you guys please please pls tell the the name of that game ...the one which i forgot!
it came in a Computer magazine free DVD, I installed it but had no LAN/Broadband to try it then
i shot a few rounds on the walls on an empty map and then uninstalled it
it was like this (description)-
* each team consisted of 3D colored balls. (athough the camera was overhead, the graphics was in full 3D, no 2D sprites)
* default weapon was a machine gun much like quake III arenas
* maps were much like CS2D to look at
* the recoil from shooting made the balls roll opposite to the direction of shooting if fired rapidly
* it was freeware/opensource
* red team was Round 3d balls like marbles, blue team was same but blue, each was eqipped with a gun that behaved like a tanks nozzle does, and aiming was done with the mouse in the same way like CS2D
* moving at speed and hitting walls etc, made them bounce against them
* its based on DirectX (/OpenGL) and you have to install it before playing. It is NOT a FLASH game
i did not realise how much fun that game might have been, if i had LAN/Broadband ..but now after playing CS2D im desperate to try that game once again BUT S#it i forgot its name!
