Is it possible to see FoW in spectator mode? Seeing both FoW and all players ? Any lua for it? Thanks.

omg are you bored? why you need fow in spectator? , the spectator can see all , like god , and detect the hackers (antifow)

To detect the anti-fow people it would be easier if you could see both the fow and the players in spectator...

If you're meaning what I think you mean, that is not possible. You can't see the FOW that the player is seeing in spectator mode

possible but extremely difficult to do with lua
well actually not that difficult... but difficult enough for me to not do it

Fow in spec, would be alright if your recording a player for Youtube or whatever. There's a few CS:2D frag clips on Youtube which are recorded via spec, and they have players walking straight passed each other, but fog of war is on, but most people watching the clip don't realize this, and reply back with bad comments.

Do you get what i mean?

it's not possible to do this with Lua because spectator positions are submitted to the server in rather low frequencies. they are too low to update the fog with Lua correctly.

FoW for Spectator is only good when Spectator Mod is on : Own Team only... there it is good

but maybe for regular specmode ppl should have an option to turn it on and off

why? so you can see exactly where someone is aiming. it makes aimbot and twitching super obvious.

actually i have my own lua script for it but it is not exactly the easiest thing to use..

yeah it is unfair. Somebody can go to specmode and can say trought skype where is enemy. So it can be used like cheating. So fog of war should be see in specmode too. Like in cs.16 in specmode you dont see other player trought walls. It should be fixed

Just add the FoW in spec, next version. and fix the bug already, also lag_comp
