I put mp_unbuyable Tactical Shield
and the console states that command "Shield" does not exist.
Is there any other text I can place, as an alternative to disabling the Tactical Shield.

I put mp_unbuyable Tactical Shield

mp_unbuyableyou always have to use quotation marks if there are spaces in the parameters. so

I don't see how this would affect the situation:

But I don't understand how the @parse can cause a problem with the command.

The best thing you can do is have the server administrator to edit the server.cfg and add
mp_unbuyable "Tactical Shield"
then it should be perfectly fine.
