if i remember right:

The hands are actually 'units' in the units.inf files. The source-code has a added command attach_to_unit that you would find (or could search) in the scripts that are responsible for swapping the "units" (hands) when you do certain things. . .like wield a knife, or swim.

I think the units/hands are assigned the variable $hands, so you could also do a search for that in the files.

I dabbled with it a bit, but I could not figure out how to script the hands to detach, once i attached it, and/or I had some issue scripting them to swap.

just wanted to say I really liked your mod. I love the graphics and the new build menu. a shame it still uses those old and very bad models for the pirate and the hippie dude. the villagers are no prize either. it should be easy to change them with other models, right? assuming the new models can be animated the same way. that might be a huge assumption, i don't know.

anyway I played this one all the way through first. I had trouble with the stone on the pirate island, but it finally did work, so i must have been doing something wrong.

was sad at the end that I didn't have a chance to go ashore on the home island. not your fault, but I assume the island exists, since it showed it. IT would be cool to go there and mess around as an ending. maybe sell a lot of stuff, build a bit and if you have gold, spend it or just get rich. perhaps?. just a thought.

I would have liked to see the mod where barrels and crates were containers, and be able to build more stuff, that was all I regretted.

It was also the inspiration for stranded II Enhanced because I couldn't make the hammer in this mod which was important, and I decided that I should make a mod that has all the capabilities of regular stranded II, but with better graphics and more stuff (in + version).

Sorry for bumping (yeah, almost two years), but does anyone have the mod and could upload it somewhere? The links are long dead, and it is a shame.

I am aware the mod mashup of Stranded 2.5 and Titanium exists, but I would prefer the original Stranded 2.5 mod. If for nothing else, then atleast for hand animations and working water shaders. Thanks in advance, everyone.
