AllyMod is a script in which you can choose your own ally - like a friend. You can't hurt him. You can do many things with him. Trade items, armor, teleport to him, even team up with him! BUT, is the mod good or bad? I don't know. I can't put a server with it. And what would be great in it? And what should be removed? Discuss here.

I meant, you could make all this script about in 300-400 lines instead of 5000!
For example instead of those if if if could be only one line.

Anyway, I see you worked on it much time.

What's the opposite of an ally? Meet the mortal enemies! If your enemy kills you too much, or is he dominating many people and everybody wanna kill him, then you CAN fight back! The Rage Menu has a few features for you (like RageKill, RageSearch, and RagePlode). Coming soon...

314 day bump. That's how long it took to get all the knowledge to continue this project. So now that it's back this thread can be used more.

Anyway, the big stuff in the update is the inclusion of the Nemesis (name suggested kindly in this topic by Flacko). The mechanics work like a revenge system - if somebody is too good and dominates everybody just because he's in a better position, you can locate him and/or kill him instantly.
Though these functions may be useful, I don't know if they're balanced. I mean, to get a nemesis you have to get killed by somebody 3 times in a row. Then 3 more times to kill the nemesis ONCE.

The next version's big thing will be Teams, but not just cheap Team imitations with laggy text over players' heads. Teams will have an other similarity - same accesories like a cap on the head, different clothing etc.
Every player will be able to create a team, join a team (if invited), and wear the team's accesory. I'm not sure what the features for the Teams would be, but I got some ideas: TeamWork and Teleport. TeamWork works just like the Ally one, only it's harder to work out as a team (unless you work as a team -_-). Teleport allows you to teleport to any team member (don't know if unbalanced). So, do you have any ideas how Teams could co-operate in order to win? Maybe item trading? Keep in mind that this is trying to be for every game mode, map and playstyle.

I would also appreciate suggestions for the Admin Menu. There shouldn't be anything Kick&Ban related - that's what RCon is for. The Menu is just a pocket tool for lazy and/or inexperienced admins to quickly execute important things, and also fool around with the stuff it presents. But it's selection is very slim (it's in the file description).

So, what's your feedback on the Nemesis? Is it alright? And don't forget about the Teams. They were done before by other people, but I think we can extend the idea more using more team related ideas, rather than just letting the feature as it is without any indepth thoughts.

Yeah, I screwed up big times since I didn't know much about scripting back then >.< It's embarrasing to think about it. I've shortened the whole thing to about 3400 lines, and I'll try to shrink the number more by changing the page menus to a few functions which calculate content for the menus (similar to SuperScripter's Script Menu) instead of manually typing out every page. I didn't do it for 0.4 simply because a new version was due for a long time, and I did the major fix that removed the hud texts just recently (I wasn't aware that the always hook creates huge traffic >_<). Thank you for your constructive criticism.

Sorry about the bump, but I think you'll all agree that valuable forum space shouldn't be wasted.
