So I recently discovered this game and decided to give it a try. I start playing and realize that I needed a couple buyscripts. So I learn how to make one, put it in the "autoexec.cfg" file, but it doesn't work. None of the times I've pushed the key bound to the various commands does it actually perform those commands.

Here's what it looks like:

bind "k" "ak47; m4a1; vesthelm; defuser; elite; flash; flash; buyammo1; buyammo2"

When I press "k", it doesn't work.

Help would be apreciated!

Well, it works fine to me. But it doesn't work when you change your name. You'll have or restart CS2D. And make sure your autoexec.cfg has a good syntax. Note that you have to remove the // form that line! Or else CS2D will not auto execute that! Let me have a check and send me it via PM (just upload on some website).

Open controls.lst (located in the sys/ folder) using notepad then copy and paste this:
Quote
"blank" "Buy Binds"
"m4a1; ak47; hegren; flash; flash; vesthelm; slot3" "Buy Weapons"
"buyammo1; buyammo2; hegren; flash; flash; vesthelm; slot3" "Stock"
"deagle; nvgs; defuser; sgren; slot3" "Misc. Stuff"

Save the file.
In CS2D go to options->controls and scroll to the bottom.
There you can asign the key you want to the binds.

Ah, thank you so much!

It turns out that my buy binds DID work, but only if I never opened up the options menu. This fixes that!

I'm very happy that the community has helped me out this much. Most other multiplayer free games have no community support. I heartily apreciate it.

If you open the file "autoexec.cfg", you will notice that in the first line it says "unbindall", I think that's why you lose your binds when opening options menu

Actually, I deleted that line first thing as I knew what it's function was. So no dice. The actual cause of unbinding was the controls.cfg that is generated everytime you open options. Putting in new controls made it so that it would still keep my binds because they were specifically set as "controls".

Oh, I actually didn't knew that. Thanks, Flacko!
