It's what most people call a clip (they are different)
Mag is short for magazine, you use mags for m16,ak's,ar15,1911,hk91,mp5,....

A clip is some thing that holds round's together, so when you go buy ammo they come in clip some you can load them in to your mags

Some guns do use clips but the are all from ww2 and ww1
guns like Simonov SKS carbine and m1 Garand you get the pont

However I did not delete the graphic. A big mistake because now I had to explain it.
