Well, i don`t know will it work/is it possible or anything but i thought that now when we have lots of stuff included in our maps, sprites, music, tiles and other stuff, it is kinda hard to upload a map with all those stuff, it takes time to put right sprites to right folder and so..

So, might it be possible that when you create a map, which includes sprite of a car for example, you still need to have that car sprite in your sprite folder BUT when you host your map first time, the server would "inject" all the sprites and musics to the mapfile, this doesnt include briefing or lua, only sprites and music. And now you just could send your mapfile and briefing to the internet, when all the stuff are packed to the single mapfile.

Now the tricky part, when you open the map in editor again, it shows all the stuff like normal, if you delete sprite, it doesn`t pack up into the mapfile anymore, and if possible there could be option if you want to pack sprites and music to the mapfile or not.

So, that was my suggestion.. hope it will be possible in some build.

Stranded II has a similiar function (so it has to be a good idea ) but I never saw someone using it.

This will not be added to CS2D. Also because this is a security risk since you could manipulate the mapfile to contain like thousands of mini files and this will flood your CS2D folder with trashfiles.

If everyone would just pack his map properly it would be so easy to unpack it (just drag and drop to the cs2d maps folder).
And I think this is what we should try to assert: Packing the map files correctly.
Maybe writing a guide or making a youtube video on that would help. then I'll delete all files from the map archive which are not packed in the correct way.

It is. However there are far less idiots playing Stranded II. So it's a lower risk there. Moreover nobody seems to use it anyway.

edit:
by "idiots" I mean ppl who want to cause damage and to ruin the game.
