J192: Yes.Well, it seems that most of you confused with the Mbps thingy. In case you don't know Mbps is not Megabytes per second but Megabits per second. 8 Megabits = 1 Megabyte.

Ping depends on the amount of nodes or HOPS as networkers call it, you are away from the destination.
erik9631: Heh, what country do you live in?In Italy I got a shitty Internet here with 0.82 Mbps upload (a far and pretty low result compared to 13.51 Mbps download speed). Although, in games like CS:GO for example is still playable and I'm really glad with that.
I always try to play those servers that aren't really far between me and the server otherwise I'll get huge lags which could impact my gameplay. I use router too. I use that router since 2012 and I never had problems or any issues with it.
