I thought I could use color smoke but apparently it's just random bits of smoke that go directly from ground and don't look like Gas Grenade smoke at all. If possible, could anyone tell me how I could have the exact same smoke but in any color ? If it's possible to do it via some kind of default cs2d images, please tell me which. Thank you in advance.

I don't think that's possible. But here what you can try:
Set your particles to minimal and then throw smoke/gas grenade. You will see how does it look and you can recreate the same image.

The smoke particle images are included in the game binary so you can't change them easily (because that could be done to get advantages with smoke grenades).

cs2d cmd effect has a mode called "colorsmoke" which can be used to create such effects.

The gas grenade gas colors are random green tones
r: 0-30
g: 100-200
b: 0-30

Well, I'll try to find/get an image that would more or less look like gas grenade particles. Thanks for information.

I guess I should have said "effects" rather than "particles", I'd use effect too but I can't make them flow outwards, nor can I change the size of them.

Then can you tell us about the rotation, size, and the speed about that gas grenade smoke?
For example the size range.

Well, i could tell you how to create almost the same effect, but you have to wait til im at pc next time to show you how it works. I will also make the gfx's for you if you really need it
