Conclusion: No one that posted around new year were having a blast. Well, not socially.
Yates: That's a shame. I didn't really have any kind of a social blast as well, just spent time in the company of my friends. Waterpipe was good. I was out and about until 5 in the morning when I finally went to sleep. And yes, the weed and alcohol was gut. Mostly alcohol as the fireworks basically killed my weed and it's effects.

I live in Washington (Seattle), exact same thing that passed in Colorado passed here too, but in Oregon it didn't pass.
palomino: It has nothing to do with religion,if we come to Islam Smoking is forbidden because it harms you and it has no good at all,yet it is allowed.But I think if there was something in Quran or Hadith about Smoking (just like there is about Wine),it would be extremely forbidden and therefor not allowed.
Anyway if that was up to me I'll make Smoking not allowed too.
