Spam? (Dedicated Server)
8 replies When running a dedicated server i from time to time
get multitable messages like this:
"received unknown or damaged msg from "23.34.456:49345"
"received unknown or damaged msg from "23.34.456:49345"
"received unknown or damaged msg from "23.34.456:49345"
and it goes on like that..
Then the server usally crashes after that.
Is that someone spamming or what? i get those alot to but i dont know what they are and the game doesnt crash though we had the same discusion a long time ago in the german area.
DC said,that this isnt a big problem.and i mean that there was a way to turn it of(?)
i always have this every day on my servers,too.but it makes no problems by me Turn of the debug in the settings.
And it should removes.

absolutely normal. you can disable it by disabling the debug mode (options more 
debug ) Which one is off 0 or 1? cause I thought debug 0 was off. And I always get those messages. I've seen all kinds of variaties of messages... one in purple text saying "NETCON:" and stuff like that. Been trying to turn it off, but I can't messages still show. DC Admin Offline
uh.. maybe I was wrong and you can't turn it off.
0 is always off, 1 is always on. mayby he must choose off in the server.cfg and start th server new?many changes only work when you restart server.you can put on new maps etc into folder and use them but when you change server.cfg you must restart server.
