Hi,i have a problem with env_breakables.
I know how to use and they do as I want,but there are some spots where I put one,but i cant destroy it(after about 200 laser shoots).
If I hit the block with a weapon,there is no effect like wood,stone etc.
Just like hitting a wall.
Other breakables work.
I also tried to copy and paste,but same result.

Somebody help?

Does environment influence it?

maybe you assigned a huge amount of health and selected "none" as material.

environment should not influence it. or did you place wall tiles around it so you can't hit it?

i can hit it.
it also be destroyed after about 200 laser shoots.,but it lokks like shootnig on a normal wall,although i copied another WORKING object which go down after 2 laser shoots.

hm...want to look at my map?

what you eplain will happen when you select "nothing" as material and give the breakable much health.

it work,but at THAT place not..on the other place it can destroy it,you can even see brown or grey things spreading when hitting it.
but if i copy it to that place,nothing comes...

no there is no wall.
after it is destroyed with unbelievable 200 laser shoots you CAN past and go to a teleporter,but its strange that an object with 1000 hp needs laser shoots and it looks like you shoot against nothing,cause notghing breakable appear.

but...high life is no problem.

i got one with 25000.
taking down with 25 laser shoots.

but the problem is...that if you shoot at an object.
there is coming something like mud or pixel form the object out,but at the "error" block is doenst. weird..

That's because you selected the material "none" and not metal or wood.

as the problem starts,i tried out all material,even flesh,but this kinda bug didn't want to be fix.

but after a time a fix it,but I dont know how,just play aounrd und click.

but that is kinda crazy...200 laser shoots O.o for 1000 hp?

That's your problem?

What Tiles are you using?

I use boxes, so for example, I have a breakable..
the tile HAS to be set to the one you want it to, so in my case, the box tile is 122.
I put that ID in the Tile Frame #: 122

remember tho..
do NOT have any other wall tiles (or tiles you cant walk over) beneath that event. (Floor tiles are fine)


If you could give me the Tile you're using, i'd help you out.

I found the problem. important tile information like "there is an entity on this tile" or "there is a teleporter exit on this tile" are saved in an array to make the game faster.
however the information "there is a teleporter exit" overwrites the information "there is an entity" so the game didn't realize that there is a breakable.
problem will be fixed with the next release.
