The first splash is good. The second splash is much better but it's a shame that it does not have eyes that squinting like the old versions (you had to click on the eyes of the CT to change them from idiot to normal).
PS: I find that the 2nd image is a representation of CS2D, it travel with time, it improves day by day, its community grow...

First one looks too bright to be a good splash, but it's kinda good. Not sure if the menu is visible this much, who knows.

But the second one breaks this impression. The idea is nice, but the screenshot you used for it is full of JPG artifacts. You should take the screen again, and put it in a PNG or something like that. PNG doesn't do those.

Try to fix it, I'll give you 4 stars for now.
