AK is so cheap to produce and spread in the world, which in some countries is cheaper than a live chicken. He can be seen in reports from virtually any hot spot of the world. AK was and remains the most deadly weapons in the world, from his bullets killed each year a quarter million people. During the Cold War, the U.S. and the Soviet Union vied for influence around the world, including through the supply of weapons. AK significantly surpassed the U.S. M1 Garand rifle and M14, in terms of reliability and ease of maintenance, so it is much more suited to poor countries without advanced weapons infrastructure.
In addition, the license to manufacture the AK gets a free "brother countries", such as Bulgaria, Hungary, East Germany, China, Poland, North Korea and Yugoslavia. With the best I meant most used, favourite - most used in the world - ak -_-. Ak47 - Number built approximately 75000000 million AK-47 and 100000000 AK-type rifles, but M4A1 - Number built approximately 71000, see? Use Wikipedia

M4A1 is standard, modifications that may be add to the weapon, are silencer, grip, heartbeat radar, scopes, and different clips. Those are the main attachments. There is no such thing as best weapon. Weapons vary in combat, for example, if you are going to rush in to a building. You will need a extended clip. If you are on a undercover misson. A M4A1 equiped with silencer. Or in my favorite section, taking out the guards of a building. You would need a grip, scope, silencer, and a heartbeat radar. Reason why: So other guards will not hear the gun shot, and better aiming and to prevent someone sneaking up on you.
